Heart of Texas Kayaks is a locally owned and operated shop located in Temple, Texas. Our main goal is to provide high quality kayaks at a reasonable price so that you and your family can get out and enjoy the Texas rivers, lakes, and bays.
My brother and I both grew up in the Temple area. While I spend most of my free time kayaking and fishing the local waters, my brother prefers to spend his free time perfecting his swing on the golf course. He is also an avid outdoorsman though.
When I went looking for a smaller kayak to handle the skinny creeks around our area, I found that there was very little in the Waco, Temple, Killeen and Belton area that catered to paddlers and kayak fisherman. I decided to take matters into my own hands. So, I rounded up my brother and the Heart of Texas Kayaks, LLC was born!
